  Rooms were cosy, fireplace in the common area was perfect for the evening. We arrived late in the evening (8pm) and were warmly welcomed by Shane, who very kindly showed us our room and made us dinner despite the bar/kitchen being closed. Huge thank you to him!!

  The name is a little deceptive, as we booked to stay in a cabin (the homestead) and went to the bar to pay, the bar/pub is not affiliated with the village any more (last time I stayed it was all run by the pub) , just so you are aware. We still found it a lovely spot with a lovely atmosphere, friendly locals, and very helpful staff at the general store. The cabins are adequate, but don't expect 5 star accommodation this is Tassie Highlands. Try the pub for upmarket lodgings. Great place, just things could be signed a little better.

  Great little stop for the night! Shane and his wife are lovely host! The rooms are basic but comfortable. Dinner was excellent!

  Clean comfortable rooms at reasonable prices. Limited menu but meals are good.
